Skills:
- Leadership – Influences the player’s ability to inspire and motivate others, probably important when interacting with crew or forming alliances.
- Piloting – Enhances piloting skills, including maneuverability, evasion, and combat effectiveness.
- Science – Boosts scientific knowledge, likely used to analyze data, understand technology, or develop new inventions.
- Engineering – Improves engineering skills, perhaps for repairing, modifying, or building ships.
- Diplomacy – Affects negotiation, persuasion, and social interactions, useful for building alliances, resolving conflicts, and influencing others.
- Deception – Improves the player’s ability to lie, cheat, or manipulate; potentially valuable for espionage or shady dealings.
- Medicine – Enhances healing abilities, making the player more effective at treating injuries or diseases.
- Firearms – Improves accuracy and effectiveness with ranged weapons like lasers and auto-cannons.
- Melee – Enhances the player’s ability to fight hand-to-hand, useful for close-quarters combat.
Ship Stats:
- Ship Name – Name your ship and customize it anyway you would like.
- Hull – Represents the ship’s health. If it reaches 0, the ship is destroyed.
- Main Power Core – Determines how powerful the power core on your ship is, which affects excess power and core health.
- Shield Capacity – Absorb damage before affecting the hull. Shields can be recharged.
- Shield Generator – Determines how quickly your shields regenerate in combat.
- Engines – Affect the ship’s evasion and maneuverability during combat.
- Weapons – Determine the ship’s attack power and options for engaging enemies.
- Missile Launcher Capacity – Indicates how many missiles the ship can carry and use in combat without having to reload.
- Sensors – Improves accuracy and detection of enemy ships.
- Cargo Capacity – Determines how much cargo the ship can hold.
- Excess Power – Represents any unused power that can be redirected to other systems.
Other Ship-Related Stats:
- Crew Members – The number of crew members on board your ship. This is currently limited to five crew members.
- Energy Packs – Used to recharge energy based weapons and gear.
Weapons:
- Pistol – Standard Issue laser pistol good for short range.
- Rifle – Standard Issue laser pistol good for medium and long range.
- Sniper Rifle – Standard issue laser sniper rifle good for long range.
- Flame Thrower – Very damaging to organics and systems that are susceptible to overheating. Excellent at close range.
- Frag Grenades – Traditional Old Earth Fragmentation Hand Grenades.
- Ion Grenades – Hand-held explosive devices that sent out an electric shock and delivering massive damage against shielded opponents.
- Plasma Grenades – Deadly grenades that are highly effective against organic enemies.
- Energy Sword – Energy based swords that can cut through almost anything, even steel.
Armor:
- Armor Type – There are a variety of different armor types including Light, Medium, and Heavy. They all have different benefits and downsides. The most powerful armor in the game is Heavy Power Armor which requires an energy core to operate.
- Armor % – This show the quality of your armor and how many more hits it can take before being destroyed.
